As Pope St. John Paul II made clear in his apostolic exhortation Catechesi Tradendae, “The definitive aim of catechesis is to put people not only in touch but in communion, in intimacy, with Jesus Christ.”

It will chronicle God’s covenant with Israel and the words of the prophets until it reached its fulfillment in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Lastly, it will examine how each of us enter into that plan through a life of discipleship.
